Trying to stay out of the light
This shameful sorrow I can't hide
The ones that I loved forgot my name
I know I'm slowly going insane
(And now it's time to run away)
Take me with you
Where the nightmares can't enter my mind
Take me with you
Where my memories will never die
Take me with you
Back in time, before reality's gone
Take me with you
Don't you know I've been waiting so long
(It's time to leave it all behind)
I know I can't escape this flashback
I close my eyes and this unreal world drowns
I know I can't escape this flashback
I close my eyes and this unreal world drowns
Everyone knows we're doomed to fall
I'll lay down where serpents crawl
We are still all dreaming in vain
I won't believe their lies again
(And now it's time to run away)
Take me with you
Where the nightmares can't enter my mind
Take me with you
Where my memories will never die
Take me with you
Back in time, before reality's gone
Take me with you
Don't you know I've been waiting so long
(It's time to leave it all behind)
I know I can't escape this flashback
(I can't escape, I know)
I close my eyes and this unreal world drowns
I know I can't escape this flashback
(Can't escape this flashback now, oh no)
I close my eyes and this unreal world drowns
I can't escape this flashback
I see shadows all around
(I know I can't escape this flashback)
I can't escape this flashback
In no way can you hurt me now
(I close my eyes and this unreal world drowns)
I can't escape this flashback
I see shadows all around
(I know I can't escape this flashback)
I can't escape this flashback
In no way can you hurt me now
(I close my eyes and this unreal world drowns)

I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion. zWarhead
